Active Games
2s-5s Stomp or Step on the Waves: Lay blue felt on the floor to be water. Have preschoolers practice stepping from wave to wave. Celebrate that Jesus walked on the water to help his friends in the storm! You can get creative with this activity and how you lay out the felt squares.
3s-5s: Four Corners: Bible story poster will be hung in the 4 corners of your room. Instruct your preschoolers to choose a bible story poster to stand next to while you count out loud to 10. When you get to 10, draw a matching bible story poster card (smaller) from bag and call out that poster. Those kids have to do a silly dance, or make an animals sound, or jump up and down, walk backwards, say the bible verse with your help, etc. Play several times!
Craft: Jesus Walks on Water craft stick Jesus!
Toddler and Preschoolers can color the page and glue Jesus to the craft stick. Everything will be pre-cut for you.
